Festival Coordinator

Contract Duration: ~5 weeks, May 11 – June 15, 2026 (with potential for an additional mid-June weekend)

Location: Hawthorne Barn and Stanley, Provincetown, MA

Compensation: $5,000 stipend (1099)

Overview

The Festival Coordinator provides hands-on operational and administrative support for Twenty Summers Season Thirteen events. Working closely with the Producer and Program Director, this role supports artists, audiences, and volunteers to ensure events run smoothly from setup through reporting and venue turnover. This position is ideal for someone organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced live event environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including audience seating, backline load-ins/outs, and venue resets

  • Provide on-site artist support during rehearsals and performances

  • Coordinate volunteers during events (ushers, parking, concessions, merch)

  • Run daily Eventbrite and Square reports; track and reconcile ticket sales, donations, merch, beverages, and cash

  • Support community outreach through flyering and poster distribution

  • Assist with venue operations including laundry, cleaning, deliveries and pickups

  • Provide general operational support as needed throughout the festival period

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Experience in event production, festivals, or live performance preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a live event setting

  • Availability for evenings and weekends

  • Physically able to lift and move chairs, equipment, and supplies

  • Experience working with volunteers or the public a plus

  • Familiarity with Eventbrite, Square, or similar systems preferred (training provided)

  • Reliable, proactive, and collaborative
